《施工方法说明》(水电工程)全书共12个章节,总字数为48,600字,共十二节内容,其主要内容是介绍公司为取得工程项目所做出的施工方案说明,译者翻译的第七章,共计15,576字。译者翻译的部分主要是关于排水闸和泄洪闸的施工介绍说明,其中介绍了工程概况、施工部署及进度计划安排、为顺利施工做的一系列准备以及主要施工方法。工程概况介绍了施工主体的结构设计特点、施工条件及施工难点,是对一个工程项目全面而简洁描述,为施工参与人员和读者提供一个关于项目基本情况和主要特点的概览。

三、研讨反思:
通过此次研讨我学习到对于科技文本的翻译,更应该注意用词的准确性和规范性,词汇的翻译是最基本的翻译,如果专业术语出现错误,译文的意思就会与源文本截然不同。对于译文信息重复的地方翻译前应先梳理汉语,通过合并、重塑、简化或使用指示代词等方式,在保持信息一致性的同时避免冗余。并且科技文本的翻译应采用规范性的科学文本表达风格,避免口语话和不客观的用词,例如最开始译文出现的“then” “what’s more”。此外,本人在翻译过程中也存在对源文本理解出现偏差的情况,擅自将译文前后并列,改变了原文意思,译者在后续撰写过程中将搜索较为权威的搜索引擎、学术网站,对源文本所涉及到的专业知识进行查漏补缺,同时加强审核校对,从语法正确性、拼写标点规范、术语统一、风格连贯性等多层面细致检查译文,纠正初稿中的低级错误,优化表达生硬、逻辑不清之处,对存疑译文反复斟酌修改。
