Dear students,
Warm greetings to all of you. How are you doing staying here in the university?
We are witnessing a critical period of the prevention and control of the novel corona virus, and everyone’s life staying in the dorm may be a little boring because of the quite strict outdoor activity management. If everyone is allowed to getting in and out of the dorm or even the university randomly, it will exactly be a disaster for us once someone is infected with the virus.
Therefore, to prevent us from being infected, please attention:
1) The health and safety of each student are the most important. Please inform me immediately if anyone has a fever or cough. Please do not worry if you get sick, since timely treatment is always on the top of the list;
2) Do not go out of the dormitory if not necessary;
3) Take the body temperature twice a day. Please go to the designated location to take the body temperature test, and make sure that you and those around you all have normal body temperatures;
4) Open the window 1-2 times a day to keep the air fresh in the room, 20-30 minutes for each time. Keep your dorm room clean. Wash your hands carefully before meals and after going to the toilet. Try not to wipe your mouth or nose, or rub your eyes with your hands;
5) Do remember to wear a mask when going out! Masks are in short supply. Please use them sparingly and try to avoid going out;
6) Do indoor exercises actively and develop good habits. Preview the courses for the next semester, and online teaching will start on March 2nd.
Please keep noticing the notifications in the WeChat group. If you have any questions, please leave me a message through WeChat, and I will reply to you as soon as possible. The dormitory manager (Emtiaz for grade 2017, Shaber for grade 2018, and Yasser for grade 2019) will check your physical conditions every day, and the volunteers will serve for you. I will check the conditions of your dorm through video chatting online. I wish you could cooperate well with each other and enhance the friendship between us!
Thank you for your support. This virus will be remembered deeply by Chinese people and never be forgotten. I hope you are confident with the power and prosperity of China confronted with the virus.
