Petroleum Industry Press Donated Books Worthy of 200,000 Yuan

On the morning of October 26^th, a book donation ceremony was held at SWPU library. On this occasion, Zhang Weiguo, General Secretary and General Manager of Petroleum Industry Press (PIP), donated books worthy of 200, 000 yuan to Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU).

General Secretary Sun Yiping accepted the donation on behalf of the university. He expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Petroleum Industry Press for their generous contribution. He also promised that these book resources would be kept and taken advantage of seriously and that better teaching and research products would be generated to repay concerns and assistance from all sectors of the community.

Zhang Weiguo stated that PIP has long maintained positive partnership with SWPU. For years, the university has cultivated a large amount of talents for the press. On the grand occasion of celebrating the 60^th anniversary of SWPU, the press donated textbooks worthy of 200, 000 yuan to show their kind wishes to the university and to do their bit in promoting the university progress.

SWPU library General Secretary Yang Chunli thanked PIP for their support to the library in a long run. She promised that the library would make full use of the books and to let them play a due role in the university teaching and research.
